A Walk on the Wild Side Tiger

Hiya.  I am currently trying to build my blog and in doing so, I'm trying to upload images of cards I've made over the last 18 months or so to give you an idea of the type of crafting I like.  In the future it would be great to upload step by step guides for anyone to follow.,
This card topper is a decoupage image from A Walk on the Wild Side CD rom.  Unfortunately, this cd is no longer available to buy, but you can use whatever image you like on this format of card.

The finished card size is A5. You will need :-
1 x A4 black cardstock
1 x A5 black cardstock
1 Sheet of backing paper with matches your topper.
A Decoupage image of choice
1 A5 Green Holographic card
Hougie Board and score tool
White pencil
Double sided tape
Craft knife and Scissors

Cut the A4 pc of black card in half to give 2 A5 pcs of card.
Use one half of this as the back of the card.  The other pcs with become a frame.
Line the card up to the inches side of the hougie board and mark in at 1 inch. (Do this on all four sides).  You should now have a 1in frame around this A5 card.  Using a craft knife, take out the centre of the card, retain for later.
Cover this frame in backing paper and again cut out the centre to give you a decorated frame.
Take the final pc of A5 black card and cut to a width of 4 inch.
Put long side at top on the inches side of the hougie board, score at 1 inch and 4 inches. Between these two score lines cover with double sided tape, but DO NOT peel off until later.
Now you are ready to construct the card.  Cover the bottom and sides of the frame with strong double sided tape.
Line up the 1 inch score line with the inside bottom of frame. Making sure that the 4in stripe moves freely. Punch a hole at the top of the stripe and tie some ribbon, to make a pully.  When everything is lined up, stick the frame together.  Make up the decoupage image and decorate with glitter and glossy accents for the eyes.  Matt this onto the Green holographic card....
You can now remove the double sided tape from earlier and lay the image within the frame.  This is the card completed.  This card is well worth the effort.
